The Production Art Internship builds on foundational graphic design skills and coursework, providing hands-on experience preparing artwork for production. Interns support the creation of primarily single‑color graphic art proofs and keylines by incorporating customer logos and text into existing templates. This role requires strong attention to detail and accuracy while working efficiently to meet production timelines and customer deadlines. Ideal candidates have a basic understanding of graphic design principles and an interest in how artwork is prepared for printing, stamping, or engraving on a variety of materials, such as crystal awards, custom drinkware, and promotional products. Creativity in this position focuses on producing clean, visually appealing layouts within established templates. The ability to visualize and convert color logos into single‑color artwork, along with familiarity with fonts and typography, is more important than advanced illustration or color design skills. Interns rely on guidance and established processes to lay out artwork and text, follow standard file‑naming and organization practices, and prepare proofs and final art files for in‑house production or external vendors. This position involves a limited range of production‑focused tasks and requires flexibility, a willingness to learn, and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment. This role is on-site 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday, tentatively from April 1st to July 30th, 2026.
