Steady Work On the job training Day one holiday pay  Day one 401K Vacation Time at 91 days Benefits at 91 days Tuition Assistance Career growth and advancement opportunities What are the hours and pay? 3rd Shift: 7:55PM-6AM Sunday-Wednesday, plus overtime as needed Base Pay: $15.75 per hour plus $1.50 per hour shift differential for 3rd shift. What is the job? Assemble various components with manual and automated machinery in accordance to customer requirements as assigned by department supervisor or line leader. Maintain production schedules and ensure jobs are processed to work instructions and DMS. Stage and organize materials including packaging, assembly components, and miscellaneous items. Set-up and change-over process and equipment for various products. Troubleshoot and problem solve production and equipment issues. Communicate with other members of the line in troubleshooting of problems. Maintain and/or document quality and productivity records as required. Accountable for quality, productivity, and safety goals. Communicate problems, concerns and/or needs with internal and external customers. Communicate with supervisor, group leader, co-workers, engineers, and other departmental employees on opposite shifts, if appropriate, in regards to production, quality, problems, and/or other related information. Ensure that the job and setup are run according to procedures and comply with all safety procedures: Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Equipment Safety Analysis (ESA) and Area Safety Analysis (ASA). Ensure that the job is run in environmental compliance after instructions from supervisor/environmental group. Perform routine housekeeping in work area as necessary. Operating tow motor for changeover, staging, and shipping or loading of product Other duties as assigned. What do you bring to the job? High school graduate or equivalent. Mechanical aptitude and dexterity required. Tow motor/lift truck operator license required. Good oral and written communication skills. Basic reading skills. Basic math skills. Basic hand tool experience Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Able to work effectively with others. Medium level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others. Be experienced in production environment in meeting schedules and rates. Attention to detail in inspection. Must work as part of a work team. Requires standing, walking and/or moving about for time periods in excess of one (1) hour. Requires some sort of repetitive turning and/or lifting motions to be performed. Work overtime as needed Work with pressure of meeting schedules, personnel issues, changing priorities. Basic computer/PC knowledge/skills preferred. Work with all levels of employees. Perform position requirements while wearing eye, foot and/or other protective devices as required.
