About The Position

We are seeking a Production Assistant to support day-to-day manufacturing operations in a prototype and low-volume production environment. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude who is eager to learn CNC manufacturing, 3D printing, casting, and finishing processes.

You’ll work closely with supervisors and leads, gaining exposure to multiple production methods while developing skills needed to grow in the prototyping industry.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret basic prints, specifications, and 3D files
• Operate manual and powered shop equipment to support CNC production
• Assist with basic 3D printing and casting operations
• Perform post-processing and finishing of completed parts
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
• Track production progress in ERP system
• Assist with raw material inventory
