About The Position

The Production Associate 1 employee is responsible for the basic assembly of product throughout the production area while adhering to safety, quality, and product delivery protocol. If deficient in any area of responsibility, appropriate training will be implemented, and successful completion evaluated. The above items are not an exhaustive description, and additional duties may be required.

Requirements

• Attention to detail
• Basic math skills
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Willingness to obtain knowledge of product and processes
• Ability to cross train for all areas of production
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to follow directives as set forth by team leads and/or management
• Must be cooperative and flexible at all times

Responsibilities

• Basic assembly of product
• Understands data populated on whiteboard and graphs, and their importance
• Gains understanding of Continuous Improvement and 5S
• Understands basic requirements of ESD
• Basic understanding of Job Order, Drawings, and Work Instructions
• Basic level knowledge of inventory management
• Assembly
• Testing
• Labeling
• Silicone Sealing
• Heat Shrink
• Forklift Driving
• Press and Saw Operations
• Basic Soldering or Crimping
• Understands the importance of their role in obtaining Vista Quality Objectives
• Other duties as assigned
