Early Access: Your benefits start after just 30 days of employment Work Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 4:00 am to 12:30 pm Recruiter: Tammie Stacye/tammie.stacye@airgas.com As a Production Operator/Cylinder Filler, you will contribute by filling high-pressure cylinders (Industrial, Medical, and Mixes) using the compression temperature/pressure method. Operate and maintain equipment safely for pumping and repackaging gases into cylinders. Ideally, you will guide all necessary pre-fill and post-fill inspections and tests before releasing cylinders. Support the integrity of cylinder maintenance, identifying any cylinders requiring repair to ensure they are corrected before returning to service. Regularly monitor and maintain pumping apparatus, pressure gauges, and monitoring devices to ensure a safe environment. Fill cylinders or containers to the correct pressure or weight with precision and care. Accurately maintain cylinder filling records and align with all required procedures to comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or general education degree
  • Routinely lifts 25-75 lbs.; occasionally lifts 76-100+ lbs.
  • Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.
  • Performs occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, and finger activities.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend all written documentation.
  • Must be able to overtime as needed
  • Must be able to become forklift certified
