Following all safety rules and procedures Assisting single-facer and double-backer operators prepare rolls for splices and order changes. Assisting clean single facers when they are not in operation. Performing other corrugator (wet/dry end) crew-member duties during break periods, as needed Working with other associates(s) to change corrugator flute rolls when roll changes are needed. Assisting other crew members with the daily cleaning of the machine Assisting on the sheet line as needed when sheet orders are produced. Assist and clear any jam ups that occur on the dry end and bring back to running status. Maintain the chop out carts to an acceptable level for changeover/order change. Adjust in COPAR to produce quality products. Produce the right load tags for the orders that will be run. Perform quality checks per SPI's and input them into QMS (dimensions, PINS, caliper, Soaks, moisture) Ensure all waste is disposed of for every order. Pro-actively assist machine operators. Clean the dry end per the weekly clean up tracker. Organize and manage WIP line to maximize storage. Communicate quality issues with the crew if necessary. Training on and learning all corrugator crew positions to be able to perform those jobs during vacation, call-in, and/or other absence situations. Maintaining a clean and organized work area - 6S Daily emptying all the waste containers in the corrugator department, including those in the supervisors' office Receiving, unloading, and storing the corrugator raw materials in the proper areas Work effectively as a team member. Keep up with the pace of the machine (order changes, outfeed lines, load tags) Have a productive shift change with incoming employees. (Communication) Performing other duties as assigned by supervision
