About The Position

The Production Associate is responsible for producing and inspecting quality plastic parts according to established standards and work instructions. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality procedures, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for at least 8 hours per shift.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as clipping and trimming plastic parts.
  • High school diploma or equivalent work-related experience required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing production needs.

Responsibilities

  • Read, understand, and comply with detailed work instructions for the assigned part.
  • Process, clip, and trim plastic parts throughout the shift.
  • Inspect parts to ensure they meet all quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Complete Operator Production Reports accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Report to work on time and remain at the workstation during scheduled hours.
  • Maintain professional and respectful working relationships with co-workers, leads, and supervisors.
  • Assist in providing breaks for co-workers as directed by the supervisor or lead.
  • Meet or exceed production quotas and quality goals.
  • Perform rework or repackaging of parts as needed.
  • Participate in any required training, including specialized courses such as ATS machine operation or Visual SPC use.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Operator or Supervisor.
