US Farathane - Production Associate - 1st Shift $15.00/hr. Starting Rate! Paid Weekly! What we are looking for! Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Plastic Injection Molding background is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Operate molding press/equipment while following company procedures
  • Review the “Operator Display Board” prior to running production for work instructions and Quality Alerts
  • Assure product meets established quality criteria of zero non-conformances
  • Correctly record scrap every hour when instructed
  • Correct application of all internal and external labels when required
  • Remove old labels from all returnable packaging
  • Correct application of lot control numbers
  • Daily review of all applicable quality alerts
  • Notify the Supervisor of all discrepancies to established quality checks
  • Report production and quality issues/concerns with associates during communication meetings
  • Keep the work area clean and organized
  • Participate in team problem-solving activities
  • Responsible for following all internal and OSHA-required safety procedures
  • Report to work on time
  • Report to the work area on time
  • Follow all other shop rules, procedures, and policies
  • Any and or all duties may be updated or changed at any time by management
