About The Position

The Production Control Planner will be responsible for production control tasks to support the Production Supervisor, Production Control Planner, Manufacturing Engineering, Customer Support, and Logistics. They will be responsible for production planning, preparing manufacturing records, releasing material and workorders, and scanning production documents. Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following: Tactical Execution Evaluate and Plan Production for their respective manufacturing department Track production hardware through each stage of the production process Collaborate with the Manufacturing Support Staff and Shop Floor Team to ensure production schedules are met Release and issue work orders to the production floor Order engineering drawings from Document Control Review drawings, specifications, and other project documents as they pertain to their scope of responsibility Generate packing lists for customer shipments and outside vendor operations Coordinate with shipping and receiving for customer delivery File and maintain Production Records Other duties as assigned Strategic Planning Update and maintains KPI Information Evaluate and Implement Continuous Improvement Solutions to Production Constraints Maintain and improve ERP system for resource, manpower, and lead time accuracy Store KPI records Customer Support Provide customer support with proper traceability and other requests required by the customer Prepare to host customer visits Other duties as assigned Additional Job Requirements Regular scheduled attendance Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling Subject to applicable laws and Air Method’s policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position. All employees must follow Air Methods’ employment practices and policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 to 3 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of collaboration at all levels
  • Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude
  • Ability to set priorities
  • Ability to perform in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment
  • Excellent organizational skills detail oriented, ability to prioritize and multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn and utilize the company’s ERP and MRP systems
  • Regular scheduled attendance

Nice To Haves

  • Some Professional Experience preferred
  • Previous experience in Production Control environment preferred

Responsibilities
