The Supply Planner will perform a variety of tasks with a focus on purchased material in support of program and factory build plans. The candidate needs to be energetic, willing to learn, able to work independently and have the ability and desire to be a change agent. The candidate also has to be ready to work in fast paced environment and be prepared to learn logistics/transportation in supporting factory needs. The associated tasks listed below are necessary in order to prevent a work stoppage or a slip in schedule, both of which would have a significant impact to the factory and/or program’s cost and schedule requirements. What You Will Do Lead team through complex problems and engage them in the decision-making process. Participate in organizational wide improvement projects. Engage team in a Metric driven environment to achieve results. Management of program supply parts to support multiple factories and possible plant sites. Evaluate material availability, identifying potential gaps and proactively working supplied material risk mitigation plans. Facilitate cross functional activities with Quality, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and coordinate some Logistics. Participates and leads continuous improvement efforts by collaborating with other departments. This will be an onsite role in our Tucson AZ facility.

Requirements

  • Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Experience in any of the following: Supply Chain, Production and/or Planning Control, MRP, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning, Property Management, JIT Concepts, Master Production Scheduling, or Delivery Administration
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Experience with Rapid Response
  • Experience working with MS Office applications including, but not limited to Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience interfacing, collaborating, and communicating with all levels of an organization, as well as with a large external customer base, to accomplish tasks
  • Active DOD Security Clearance
