Position Summary: As a Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for initiating work orders, creating manufacturing documentation, pulling raw material components and printing labels for medical device lots. You are required to record the control numbers of the respective parts and maintaining accurate inventory levels. You will work closely with the manufacturing, quality control and receiving departments. The job requires the individual to be a team player with the ability to function well in a challenging and fast paced environment. Must be enthusiastic, positive, even tempered and have strong skills in areas of dependability, interpersonal relationships, flexibility and maturity.

Requirements

  • High School or Equivalent along with 3 to 5 years of related experience is required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Possess logical thought process - must follow safety procedures and quality process guidelines.
  • Great organizational skills.
  • Experience with data entry; proficient in MS Windows & Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven time management, organizational skills; strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to function well under pressure and able to meet schedules and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for processing medical device lots according to BOM slips.
  • Responsible for receiving, issuing, and maintaining accurate component inventory levels within an inventory control computer based system.
  • Organize, complete and file paperwork.
  • Assist the Supervisor in inventory management.
  • Assist production technicians when necessary.
  • Follow all procedures outlined in Globus Medical’s quality policy and make sure that the materials are maintained and issued in total conformity with the FDA and other government agencies.
