About The Position

About this role: The Production Coordinator supports daily manufacturing operations by coordinating production activities, maintaining communication across departments, and monitoring production performance. This role ensures continuity across shifts, supports execution of production schedules, and assists leadership by analyzing production data and identifying opportunities for operational improvement. The Production Coordinator works closely with supervisory teams and cross-functional departments to maintain workflow efficiency, schedule adherence, and operational alignment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in business, operations management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), Oracle ERP and familiarity with production scheduling software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time while working on a computer, phone, and logistics systems.
  • Occasional standing and walking to interact with colleagues, suppliers, or while moving through office and manufacturing areas.
  • Occasionally required to lift, carry, or move boxes, documents, or materials up to 25 pounds.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and standard office equipment.
  • Requires close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus when reviewing shipment documentation, system data, and customs paperwork.
  • Must be able to hear and communicate clearly for phone conversations, video calls, and in-person collaboration.
  • Occasional bending, reaching, or stooping may be required to access files, supplies, or materials.
  • Ability to travel periodically to supplier sites or carrier facilities as needed.
  • Ability to work in both office and production environments may involve moderate noise levels, temperature variation, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate tasks and priorities across shifts to ensure continuity and clear communication between supervisory and lead teams.
  • Execute daily production schedules established by the Senior Production Supervisor and Planning Teams.
  • Adjust labor assignments and workflow within assigned production areas to meet output targets and operational priorities.
  • Serve as a liaison between fabrication, inside sales, purchasing, quality, and shipping departments to support schedule adherence and operational alignment.
  • Communicate production updates, issues, and priorities to relevant teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Maintain and update production dashboards, reports, and tracking tools.
  • Monitor daily production performance against schedule and operational targets.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to the Senior Production Supervisor.
  • Coordinate tasks and priorities across shifts to ensure continuity and clear communication between supervisory and lead teams.
  • Follow departmental procedures and work instructions as written.
  • Perform additional tasks or activities assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the production system.
  • Promote a collaborative team environment and demonstrate Sealing Devices SCORE Values in daily work.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements in accordance with the Sealing Devices Quality System.
