The Production Foreman oversees all aspects of production, is responsible for the organization and planning in the assigned area, provides guidance, strategy execution where necessary, and direct supervision of the shift. The role involves planning, directing, and monitoring the work of shift operations for optimum output and efficiency. The foreman must maintain area operating procedures ensuring all safety standards and personal protective equipment requirements are met by employees. Daily operations and strategies must be communicated to all employees, departments, and supervisors. The foreman administers and coordinates all job-specific training for new hires and handles daily personnel issues. Additionally, the foreman manages work order prioritization, maintains expertise, and acts as the first responder to critical production issues. Oversight of vendors and contractors, monitoring lease production, and identifying lost production by diagnosing individual well performance are also key responsibilities. The foreman supervises well work including rigs, wireline, cementing, acid and plugging crews, communicates lease and well problems, and develops remedies. Implementing solutions to address problems and ensuring safe and environmentally responsible operations by monitoring and responding to tank battery alarms are crucial. The foreman reviews and executes engineering projects in the field and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies. This includes supervising company and contract lease operators, as well as personnel conducting repair and maintenance operations. The foreman oversees activities of contractors performing well service, lease maintenance, swabbing rigs, flow back operations, and work-over operations, manages lease operator schedules and routes, and works with landowners and community members to prevent or resolve issues that may arise with daily operations.
