About The Position

Join our team as a Production Intern and gain hands-on exposure to how creative projects are planned, tracked, and delivered at a global game publisher. Located at our El Segundo office in California, this internship will run for approximately 12 weeks onsite. We are looking for someone local to the office who is passionate about games and motivated to build experience in creative production within a multidisciplinary team. This intern will be joining the Brand Creative Department (BCD) within the Global Creative Division, a creative production team that supports game marketing and development through high-quality video, game capture, cinematics, and motion and static design. The team collaborates closely with internal stakeholders across KRAFTON’s global studio roster, including regular collaboration with team members based in Seoul and other regions. Through this role, the intern will gain exposure to how a global creative organization operates, supporting multiple game titles and working with teams across time zones and cultures. This role is ideal for someone interested in project management or production within a creative environment, who wants to better understand how creative pipelines function in a professional, international game studio setting.

  • Interest in project management, production, or creative operations
  • Passion for games and curiosity about how creative content is produced
  • Ability to learn new tools and workflows quickly
  • Comfortable working in a team environment and collaborating with people from different backgrounds
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (or recent undergraduate) in a related field such as: Project Management Communications Media Production Game Studies / Game Design Film, Design, or other creative disciplines
  • Prior experience with creative projects (school projects, student organizations, personal projects, or game jams) is helpful but not required
  • No prior professional game industry experience is required

Nice To Haves

  • Interest or familiarity with production and collaboration tools such as Wrike or Confluence
  • Interest in learning industry-standard production tracking tools such as Flow Production Tracker (ShotGrid)
  • General familiarity with or curiosity about creative tools such as Unreal Engine and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Background or personal interest in creative fields (video, design, motion graphics, sound, or game capture)
  • Interest in working with global teams and learning how international creative collaboration functions

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with task tracking, status updates, and maintaining project organization within production tools
  • Supporting documentation efforts, including helping maintain team workflows, process notes, and internal knowledge bases
  • Helping prepare projects for reviews by ensuring tasks, assets, and notes are clearly organized
  • Observing and participating in production meetings, including meetings that involve international team members, to gain exposure to global collaboration
  • Communicating with team members across disciplines to help ensure information is clearly captured and shared
  • Learning how creative pipelines function across disciplines such as video editing, motion graphics, design, sound, and game capture
