About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory and Kitting Specialist to manage inventory levels, ensure accurate stock counts, and assemble kits according to project or production requirements. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting our operations by maintaining inventory accuracy and preparing kits for timely delivery. Key Responsibilities: Monitor, track, and maintain accurate inventory records using GSS ERP System. Receive, label, and store incoming inventory according to company procedures. Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile discrepancies with digital records. Pick and prepare materials/components for kitting based on bills of materials (BOMs) or work orders. Assemble kits accurately and efficiently, ensuring all required components are included. Coordinate with procurement and fabrication teams to forecast and manage inventory. Organize inventory storage to maximize efficiency and minimize errors. Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of materials. Identify and report damaged or obsolete inventory. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the storage area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in inventory, kitting, warehousing, or a related role.
  • Familiarity with inventory control systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Fishbowl, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of kitting and bill of materials processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent time management and communication.
  • Problem-solving mindset.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Word, inventory software).

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
