About The Position

The Production Laborer supports daily print and mail operations by staging jobs, moving materials and cleaning up production stations. This role is essential to maintaining workflow through our printing, inserting, finishing, and shipping departments.

Requirements

  • Experience in production, manufacturing, or warehouse setting preferred
  • Demonstrated employment history of reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting with strong quality standards
  • Work experience requiring staging production materials and safely moving large pallets
  • Ability to operate equipment safely (pallet jacks, carts, wrapping equipment, etc.)
  • English fluency (reading, writing, and speaking) required bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Ability to read and follow job tickets, and written and verbal instructions
  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Basic computer experience
  • Stand and walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environment

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and stage paper, envelopes, inserts, trays, and finished mail
  • Pallet jack and roll cart operation in a fast-paced production environment
  • Read and interpret work tickets and production schedule, report issues to Supervisor
  • Supply the correct materials to the appropriate machines
  • Ensure machines are continuously supplied with required stock items
  • Transport finished pallets to designated areas and manage recycling/trash removal
  • Return unused production materials to assigned locations
  • Transport mail trays and pallets between production, QA, and shipping areas
