Production Laborer Weekend Shift

About The Position

Position Summary: This position provides various job duties involved with production to assist the daily operations of one or more departments. Entry level position that may be assigned specific tasks of the broadly defined possibilities of production laborer. 1. Clean and prepare equipment to meet or exceed the FOD (foreign object debris) requirements during final stages of completion before it gets shipped to customer. This includes spraying cleaner, wiping with cleaning rags, dusting, sweeping, mopping, gathering loose material or garbage. 2. Assemble, install, disassemble, clean, prepare, repair, refurbish, and rebuild components related to the job. 3. Provide assistance in the final assembly department by assembling racks, cable trays and installing insulation, siding, and electrical components. 4. Prepare equipment to be painted by cleaning, washing used machinery using pressure washer, applying caulk, taping, masking, wiping, vacuuming, hanging on racks etc. 5. Disassemble, clean, and repair equipment by removing all broken components and replace with new or refurbished parts. 6. Dress and clean surfaces, re-tap holes, touch-up paint, to OEM condition 7. Provides assistance in the warehouse, shipping, Point of use deliveries, kitting jobs, putting away inventory, organize and bins and shelving, join the 5S daily tasks. 8. Collect and gather garbage. Organize shop floor. 9. Use and operate various hand and shop tools. 10. Properly care for and maintain tools in good operating condition; ensure tools and equipment are properly stored at the end of each shift. Other Essential Duties 1. Maintains regular and consistent job attendance, comes to work on time. 2. Follows and complies with IE Core Values. 3. Follow and comply with IE safety program and cardinal safety rules. 4. Must maintain a safe and clean work area at all times. Other Duties as Assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be reliable, responsible, dependable, and able to fulfill obligations.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs., Push/Pull up to 100 lbs..
  • Must be capable of standing and walking for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to identify work priorities and function with very little supervision.
  • Must be a team player and self-motivated
  • Bottom line focus on delivering value to the customers and organization.
  • Able to work multiple tasks and varied job duties as assigned.
  • High School or GED preferred plus up to one-year related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Offers of employment are contingent on drug screen and background check.
