About The Position

Long-standing and highly respected aerospace & defense electronics company, is seeking a Production Manager to lead its assembly operations. This role oversees day-to-day production, supervises assembly teams, and ensures quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery of high-reliability electronic products.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years in production or operations leadership
• Experience in electronics or assembly environments
• Strong people management and communication skills
• Comfortable working hands-on in a production setting
• Electronics or cable assembly background
• Aerospace or defense industry exposure
• Experience with high-mix / low-to-mid volume production
• Familiarity with SAP and production reporting
• Experience managing long-tenured teams

Nice To Haves

• SAP experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and support 40+ assemblers through multiple supervisors
• Oversee electronics and cable assembly operations
• Manage production schedules, workflow, and output
• Ensure quality standards and delivery timelines are met
• Work closely with purchasing, maintenance, and leadership
• Use SAP for production tracking and reporting
