About The Position

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations at our Mesa, Arizona facility. This role is critical to driving operational excellence, safety, quality, and performance across multiple departments while supporting a business with great financial annual production impact. As the second-in-command to the Plant Manager, you will play a key leadership role in aligning people, processes, and resources to meet production goals, improve efficiency, and support long-term business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years of people leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in regulated environments (ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or ISO 13485)
  • At least 5 years of experience using ERP or MRP systems
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for reporting and presentations

Nice To Haves

  • Background in plastics manufacturing and/or CNC machine shop operations
  • Proven success leading process-driven, high-accountability operations
  • Experience interacting with customers as needed

  • Develop & Lead Teams
  • Lead and develop a team of 5–10 direct reports across multiple departments
  • Coach, train, and mentor employees to strengthen capability and engagement
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate Across the Business
  • Partner closely with quality, maintenance, logistics, planning, and supply chain teams
  • Support capacity planning and future production needs
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure material availability and resolve issues
  • Act as a key operational partner to the Plant Manager

  • The salary range for this position is $103,400-129,300. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
