The Production Manager is responsible for supervising all phases of the window manufacturing process, working directly with Team Leaders, EHS Manager, Materials Manager, Maintenance and TMX Manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years relevant management experience
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, as well as basic math skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and can multi-task effectively
  • Demonstrated adherence to safety protocols
  • Ability to adapt quickly and make sound decisions in a changing, fast-paced work environment
  • Pass a drug screen and pre-employment physical

Nice To Haves

  • Previous construction experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in window manufacturing is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Ability to lead large groups of people and focus on developing a culture of accountability working as a team
  • Strict adherence and compliance with quality assurance requirements to include HUD building codes
  • Be safety minded and ability to put safety first – must adhere to strict safety rules and guidelines
  • Reviewing production performance and identifying training opportunities of production personnel as necessary
  • Direct teams effectively in each department to ensure timelines and production priorities are met
  • Provide sound leadership, coaching, mentoring, and direction for personnel development and employee engagement
  • Improve production processes for the purpose of improving overall quality, reducing lead-times, and lowering costs of operations by utilizing Lean Manufacturing methods, 6S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Total Quality Management, etc. applications where necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
