Summary: Responsible for moving all pallets of finished products or component parts to the stretch wrapper, designated locations, or into the warehouse or fabrication departments.

Requirements

Must know how to operate a forklift and have a forklift license.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and comprehend sufficient English to follow work instructions.
Basic mathematical skills and counting ability required.
Must be able to pay close attention to detail, have general deductive reasoning skills to troubleshoot minor issues and knowledgeable of how and when to escalate.
Must be able to work without close supervision.
Must have forklift license.
Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds, bend, stoop, walk, carry, clean, drive and maintain.

Responsibilities

Knowledge and recognition of plastic fittings by name, shape, and dimension.
Knowledge of daily performance goals and working to achieve 100% of targeted output.
Completion of production line paperwork accurately and in real time.
Assuring quality of work through the proper labeling and verification of correctness for all types of molded fittings and their associated packaging (i.e.: labels, cartons/cases, bags, ink jet printed information, case count, and pallet configuration)
Detection, segregation, and isolation of non-conforming quality defects and notifying Supervisor, Manager, and/or QA Department
Able to identify various types of quality defects based on appearance, fit, form, and function.
Transports virgin and reground materials to the production machines for processing.
Transports all pallets of finished goods to stretch wrapper or into the warehouse.
Transports bins to proper staging areas for Bar Code and totes of parts for Fabrication to the assigned rack locations.
Assist in stretch wrapping of pallets of finished products.
Verifying correct LPNs are attached to the appropriate pallet(s) by scanning and comparing against the pallet ID tag.
Assist in housekeeping by transporting the trash bins for removal.
Must be able to safely operate and perform daily maintenance checks on a forklift.
Proper organization and cleanliness of assigned work area to highest level of standards (5S)
Perform 5S Audit for each work area assigned on a daily basis
Performing the above-mentioned functions with minimum supervision.
Any other duties as assigned by supervision or management.
