Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; vocational training or Associate degree preferred.
  • 1+ year of related experience in manufacturing, warehouse, production control, or material handling; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
  • Experience with inventory systems, ERP systems, or material tracking software.
  • Understanding of production flow, WIP tracking, and material control processes.
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Move production and other materials into and out of storage, production areas, and designated locations following standard work instructions.
  • Monitor Work-in-Process (WIP) to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules.
  • Communicate part and material status using automated inventory systems and manual reporting methods.
  • Identify and resolve routine material discrepancies using established procedures.
  • Coordinate with production, planning, and logistics functions to prioritize and expedite materials to prevent schedule delays.
  • Maintain compliance with internal material handling and inventory control procedures.
  • Perform duties under general supervision.
