About The Position

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Fills cryogenic liquids and pure non-flammable industrial gases according to Airgas Fill Plant Standard Operating Procedures by any of the following methods Sets pressure gauge to specified reading and watches for indication of full cylinders. Adjusts valves and observes gauge to fill cylinder to specified pressure. Observes scale indicator to fill cylinders to specified weight. Fills cylinder to full capacity, rolls cylinder onto scale and connects vent line to release excess gas and attain prescribed weight. Rolls cylinders onto platform, or positions cylinders in manifold racks manually or with the aid of material handling equipment. Tests gas for purity using testing equipment. Inspects or tests empty cylinders. Examines exterior of cylinder for surface defects such as dents, cracks, or burns, and deciphers whether or not to quarantine the cylinder for further inspection. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to obtain a valid forklift operator’s license is required.
Ability to regularly lift up to 60 pounds, and occasionally move up to 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment is required.
The ability to read and comprehend all written communications is required.
Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.
