The Production Operator II is proficient in the set-up, start-up, continuous operation and shutdown of the assigned manufacturing equipment and processes using adherence to Standard Work Instructions, Good Manufacturing Practices, and current Good Documentation Practices This position reports to the Value Stream Leader and is part of the Production Operations department located in Putnam, CT and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Operate production equipment to manufacture product per standard work. Follow a weekly schedule and communicate potential production issues to manager in a timely manner. Complete all documentation and follow all GDP guidelines related to manufacturing processes in a timely manner. Follow all practices and procedures regarding safety and quality compliance including OSHA, cGMP, ISO 9001 & ISO 14000 requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) with 2+ years manufacturing experience
  • Push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Go up and down stairs to operate equipment.
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs, or any other physical requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an ISO or cGMP environment preferred.
