This is accomplished by participating directly on the line and efficiently utilizing labor, materials, and machines to produce the best quality product for our customers. â€⁢</pâ€⁢</p Shift: Monday through Friday 6:00AM-4:00PM. Wage: $21.00 USD an hour and up based on experience

Requirements

  • Previous machine operator experience or equivalent skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Licensed forklift operator or willingness to learn.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Able to learn System 21, Outlook, Excel.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role.
  • The ability to speak comfortably and perform presentations or training sessions for groups of 10-20 people.

Responsibilities

  • Be vigilant in the monitoring of Team Members’ activities on a continual basis.
  • Ensure any and all PPE is issued and is being properly worn.
  • Actively participate in Safety Training.
  • Participate in the creation of Job Rotation Programs and Job Hazard Analysis for each position.
  • Monitor Team Member call-ins to maintain an accurate daily total of Team Members present.
  • Schedule each shift’s work in accordance with Master Production Schedule and the crew size to maximize output.
  • Ensure production meets MMR specifications.
  • Ensure packaging specifications and production rate standards are met/exceeded on a consistent basis.
  • Perform assigned inspections for quality and appearance of products produced according to required specifications, with the goal of gaining the knowledge to train other Team Members within a four to six month period.
  • Responsible for materials management utilizing WMS system to include yield reporting and reconciliation.
  • Manage changeover process to minimize downtime and meet changeover goals
  • Ownership of batch record packet and corrections to it.
  • Expected to turn batch record packet in to quality error free the same shift a work order is completed.
  • Any corrections must be completed and turned back in to quality immediately following end of shift.
  • Must be able to hold employees accountable for the batch record being accurate.
  • Set fill rate at 10-20% greater than the production goal rate.
  • Manage changeover process to minimize downtime.
  • With the Production Supervisors, plan the proper placement and develop a training plan for new Team Members to maximize output from those present.
  • Provide a good example of maturity, ambition, and company loyalty, which will aid in the proper development of other Team Members.
  • Aids with the implementation and the consistent enforcement of work rules, policies, protocols, specifications, and requirements identified by ACTUS.
  • Completes any and all daily reporting of production numbers directly, or through other Team Members, and verifies accuracy, based on total number of line items submitted per day.
  • Works with Quality, Maintenance, and Production Supervisors to resolve issues related to the efficient operation of a production line or area.
  • Ensure materials are scanned in WMS to and from line.
  • Provides a positive example for other Team Members by practicing good personal hygiene and following any and all Food Safety Policies required by ACTUS.
