About The Position

Conagra Brands is looking for Production Operator to join our growing team! Reporting to the Team Lead, you will operate and monitor packaging machines, complete quality checks, resolve routine mechanical issues, and support safe, efficient production at our Rensselaer, Indiana facility. You will help ensure that Orville Redenbacher and ACT II products meet our quality standards while working within a collaborative team environment. Benefits available on Day 1 Schedule: 3-2-2 schedule | 12-hour shifts 7-7 | Rotate days to nights every 4 months Location: Located at 750 E Drexel Pkwy, Rensselaer, IN 47978.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic to moderate computer and iPad proficiency.
  • Skill in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedural documents.
  • Competence with basic math including measuring, averaging, and ranges.
  • Readiness to work in a fast‑paced production setting with changing conditions.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, stock, and monitor packaging machines on the production lines.
  • Perform routine product and process quality verifications.
  • Troubleshoot basic mechanical and equipment issues.
  • Maintain required production and quality documentation.
  • Follow all safety rules, procedures, and policies.
  • Partner with team members and provide support across the line as needed.
  • Work within varying environmental conditions including noise, heat, cold, and dust.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds as part of normal job duties.
  • Work a 3‑2‑2 schedule on 12‑hour shifts (7–7), rotating from days to nights every four months.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, food safety, and plant standards.
