About The Position

This position is onsite at the Gresham, OR facility and is responsible for scheduling all production, processing, assembly, and packaging activities. The role ensures the correct labor, tools, materials, and equipment are allocated to meet production schedules. Responsibilities include sequencing work centers, adjusting schedules due to downtime, backlogs, labor/material shortages, or design changes, and maintaining accurate production reporting. The position is also required to provide full backup scheduling support to the Vancouver, WA facility. Long‑term, the role will require the scheduler to be hybrid onsite between both Gresham and Vancouver, typically spending a couple of afternoons each week in Vancouver. During initial cross‑training, the role will require onsite presence in Vancouver as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Education + 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess excellent customer-service skills.
  • Must be capable of creating and working within spreadsheets.
  • Must be proficient in Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to influence and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to follow procedures, solve day-to-day scheduling issues, and make decisions within established guidelines.
  • Demonstrates teamwork, leadership, and alignment with company policies.
  • Monday – Friday, 8+ hours per day, with flexibility for early mornings, evenings or occasional weekends
  • Regular onsite presence at Gresham is required.
  • Ongoing support at Vancouver—typically a few afternoons per week.
  • Increased Vancouver onsite time required during onboarding and training.
  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time, usually 8 hours.
  • Occasional lifting, up to 20 lbs.
  • Wear PPE when required: Safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection etc.
  • Reading and operating computer screens or other electronic devices.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling all production, processing, assembly, and packaging activities
  • Ensuring the correct labor, tools, materials, and equipment are allocated to meet production schedules
  • Sequencing work centers
  • Adjusting schedules due to downtime, backlogs, labor/material shortages, or design changes
  • Maintaining accurate production reporting
  • Providing full backup scheduling support to the Vancouver, WA facility
  • Follow all Plant rules, Processes, Hygiene, and Allergens procedures, related to production of Safe Quality Foods.
  • Report to person of authority to record any potentially unsafe conditions which may result in unsafe foods or noncompliance to SQF related procedures.
  • Participate in SQF Root Cause and Corrective Actions (from customer complaints, SQF audits, validation, and verification activities) as required.
  • Follow all procedures related to producing Safe Quality Foods (SQF).
  • Report any potentially unsafe SQF conditions or customer complaints to a person of authority to record and/or correct the situation.
