Springs Window Fashions is hiring for Mecho a division of Springs Window Fashions LLC Production Scheduler - Edison, NJ (Mechoshade) This is an onsite role. Your Best Career Experience Accountabilities Review incoming orders in the Scheduling tool by checking material availability using the promising tool to assign appropriate MFG and ESD. Obtain ETA on pending information from procurement and review material holds twice a day. Firm orders to achieve goal of time to firm in 24 hr. Improve and maintain OTS (On Time Ship) to meet 95% goals. Provide updates to Corporate about any delays or shortages so they can communicate effectively to customers. Review and release MTS (make to stock) to support production. Report and resolve any issues and/or discrepancies to customer service. Develop a production schedule and coordinate with all parties to execute the schedule to meet customer expectations. Run material shortages report to update orders for MFG’s and ESD’s. Schedule Branch Transfer and marketing swatches. Answer emails and phone calls as required. Attend and/or drive meetings as needed. Cross train on all areas of Scheduling. Good communication skills (written and verbal). Must be able to communicate effectively and work in a cooperative manner to support a team environment and company objectives. Provide t echnical support for internal and external customers. Clearly defines and utilizes processes in daily work. Participate in lean activities and Kaizen events as required. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in technical competency, minimum in a business/industrial related field.
  • 3+ years of scheduling in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong Excel skills highly desired
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience interacting with cross functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, quality, materials, logistics, sales & marketing.
  • Demonstrated scheduling management skills.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Possess very strong analytical skills
  • Experience in manufacturing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills
  • Demonstrated problem resolution and crisis management
  • Proactive and Self-motivated with business perspective and a sense of urgency
