The Production Scheduler is responsible for managing material demand and executing monthly S&OP planning cycles to build accurate, executable production schedules for LWL/CP machines. This role partners closely with Operations, Product Group, Engineering, and Material Requirements teams to align production schedules with customer needs, demand requirements, and Decatur factory priorities.

Requirements

Forecasting - Understands foundational forecasting tools, sources, roles, and metrics used to estimate product demand and support planning activities.
Problem Solving - Applies structured problem‑solving techniques, follows escalation procedures, and uses standard methods to analyze and resolve issues within the work area.

Responsibilities

Analyze and troubleshoot planned production scheduling issues; recommend improvements that optimize scheduling accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve product‑related issues and integrate customer, product group, and business requirements into production plans.
Balance supply, demand, and operational constraints to support factory performance and customer commitments.
Ability to follow a ridged timeline to ensure S&OP cycle is completed and communicated timely
