About The Position

BMP Doors USA is a high speed doors company in Waynesboro, PA, and Arlington Heights, IL, that designs, manufactures, and distributes internal and external high-performance doors for commercial and industrial door applications. Above all, whether your business needs industrial roll up doors or high speed commercial doors, our high speed doors applications use proven concepts and are the perfect solutions to enhance the flow of goods and people. Looking for a hands-on individual to lead the second shift production workers. This person will lead the Second Shift, 3PM-11PM.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer skills required: o Timecard Software; Inventory Software; Microsoft Office Suite
  • Other skills required: o At least 10 years of experience in a job-shop environment. o Technically competent, quick study, and excellent people skills.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on and directly supervises 5 employees within various departments.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work
  • You are a hands-on driver of your team
  • Becomes familiar with all product lines.
  • Expedites orders.
  • Inspects equipment and products.
  • Trains employees.
  • Enforces shop and safety rules.
  • Coordinates with engineering on product specifications.
  • Verifies daily completions and relieves bottlenecks.
  • Solves problems regarding technical questions.
  • Communicates with purchasing department on shortages, usages or demands of inventory levels.
  • Monitors and/or implements changes or adjustments to assembly lines to ensure more efficient workflow.
  • Directs scheduling of new orders.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
