The Imaging Software team is seeking a Production Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement testing tools and procedures in collaboration with software and production teams to enhance product quality, automate production processes, and expedite the build and test phases. The tools you develop will be used to monitor and analyze product performance throughout its lifecycle, ensuring reliability from initial creation to customer deployment. Successful candidates will possess experience in hardware testing methodologies, automated test systems, and a strong understanding of both hardware and software integration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement hardware testing strategies and tools
  • Collaborate with software and production teams to enhance automation
  • Optimize production line efficiency and product quality
  • Create and maintain documentation for testing procedures and tools
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Provide feedback to design teams for product enhancements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C/C++
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a relevant engineering field or at least 5 years work experience
  • Experience in hardware testing and automated test systems
  • Strong understanding of hardware-software integration
  • Experience with data analysis and performance monitoring
  • Prior work in a high-volume manufacturing environment
