About The Position

This position supports the Production Manager in all services
necessary for the basic operation of the production department. This position is
Responsible for the flow of product between vendors and factories and
coordinates shipments with agents and warehouses.Major Responsibilities: i•
Coordinate the flow of information to sales force and customer service.• Enter
all Work In Process; update all changes correctly with prices, factories, XF.•
Style Master, QRS, UPC• Troubleshoot shipping and delivery issues.•
Coordinate shipments with agents and warehouses.• Manage selling off of closed
out items and sample room.• Other duties as required.• Buy shoes and source
to various countries. • Monitor the flow of goods to ensure punctual delivery
and cost effectiveness.• Monitor costs, calculate margins and monitor
inventory levels.• Create production schedules.• Supervise writing of buys
and sourcing to various countries.• Oversees and monitors delivery of all
orders placed in various countries.• Participates in production decisions
concerning new line products.• Participates in determining product costs and
resource needs.• Responsible for managing inventory levels• Special projects
as needed• Other duties may be assignedSupervisory Responsibilities: Provides
basic work direction and support for small groupsSpecific Job Skills: • Good
time management skills• Good interpersonal skills• .Under limited
supervision, anticipates and solves problems for self, and others both within
and outside own department.• Ability to understand and follow somewhat complex
