Job Summary This hands-on role supports Bird’s vehicle operations within one of our central and/or service facilities. Including (but not limited to) the following: Vehicle: Repair: Mechanical Responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing vehicle issues and repairing vehicles to meet functional specifications. Repairs include (but are not limited to) brakes, front forks, handlebar components, etc. Repair: Electrical Responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing vehicle issues and repairing vehicles to meeting functional specifications. Repairs include (but are not limited to) vehicle "Brain", battery, LCD screen, wiring, etc. Charging Responsible for meeting the vehicle charging schedule, which includes: moving vehicle pallets to and from charging areas, plugging-in/unplugging vehicles, and indicating vehicle charge date Hardware modification and troubleshooting Working with cross-functional Bird teams to develop processes and modify vehicles to meet business objectives Quality control Responsible for validating that the functionality of new or repaired vehicles to meet technical/business requirements Shipping/receiving Responsible for the input and output for materials delivered to or shipping from the facility, communicate with delivery drivers, track orders via our internal systems, and load and unload trucks Inventory Management Responsible for the tracking production equipment and materials in the facility, which includes spare parts, production assembly components, tools, safety equipment, computers, etc.
