About The Position

Join us as our new Production Specialist The Process & Technology department of Novonesis is a group of scientists and engineers cultivating bacteria to advance the company ideals of Exploration, Impact, Ownership, and Care as we better our world with biology! In this role you'll make an impact by: Liaising between Production, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Planning, and global functions to efficiently make and release compliant, quality product Managing and improving new and existing bacterial cultures, formulations, technology, and production processes using tools like systematic problem-solving Supporting the validation of processes and equipment including writing protocols, executing testing, and completing reports To succeed you must hold: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, such as a microbiology, food science, or engineering, and one to two years of experience in a manufacturing environment (food or biotech preferred) Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently Basic understanding of process flow diagrams, automation interfaces, and technical literature Basic knowledge of microbiology and product application to disposition products from test results Basic knowledge in production systems (e.g., SAP, LIMS, Business Objects/Informatics, etc.) Experience with project management, systematic problem solving, or LEAN/Six Sigma principles a plus Location: West Allis, WI Application deadline: 3/27/26 Expected salary range: $85,000-$105,000 Benefits you will enjoy: 401(k) with up to a 9% company contribution Minimum of 3 weeks of vacation plus 12 holidays and 2 weeks of Wellness Time Health, Dental, Vision & Life insurance Healthcare savings account option Employee assistance program Parental leave Tuition reimbursement All benefits begin on your first day Our purpose guides the way In Novonesis, we know that solutions rooted in biology can help solve humanity’s biggest challenges. Requirements
