The Production Supervisor is responsible for the start-up of the production floor, making sure all employees are at their assigned work areas to begin work and that there are sufficient workloads at each area. They will maintain an even/timely workflow on the production floor; maintain standard production goals, quality standards and performance records. They will become familiar with many aspects of plant operations, safety training, manually moving empty and/or loaded carts/containers to designated locations, and practice good housekeeping.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience working in a leadership role in a manufacturing or production setting.
  • Minimum of 1 year, recent supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing setting or a minimum of 2 years experience as a Team Leader in a production or manufacturing setting.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Great communication and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work overtime.
  • Be a team player who can work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Is physically able to perform the duties of the job (move heavy equipment/machinery, climb ladders, perform repetitive motions, walk/stand, etc.) and is willing to work a flexible schedule which includes weekends, and holidays.
  • An up to date resume with any gaps in employment explained.
