About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor - Transformers. This role is based out of our Waukesha, WI location. No relocation assistance will be provided. The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. As a Production Supervisor, you will direct departmental activities and initiate/participate in cross-functional activities to accomplish the objectives of safety, quality, on-time delivery, inventory, productivity, and continuous improvement, which focuses on removing cost from the business as well as meeting departmental metrics, goals, and objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or completion of Eaton’s Front Line Leader Associate program
  • Two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience

Nice To Haves

  • Five (5) years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with lean manufacturing / Operational Excellence in 5S+, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Management, etc.
  • Experience in an Engineered to order environment

Responsibilities

  • Champion a Zero Incident safety culture and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Align Eaton Quality System priorities with department needs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage daily operations, set production priorities, and coordinate support resources.
  • Review inventory and assign work to meet schedule and business requirements.
  • Facilitate shift coordination and assign direct/indirect labor effectively.
  • Coach teams on safety, quality, and productivity performance.
  • Monitor equipment and facility conditions; issue maintenance work orders as needed.
  • Maintain associate records, including attendance, OT, vacation, training, and time-off.
  • Manage department budgets and lead routine communication meetings.
  • Support training and onboarding for new employees.
  • Coordinate job bidding and verify candidate eligibility.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to improve processes and achieve plant goals.
