Requirements

  • Associate's degree in manufacturing technology, business, operations or a related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production operations
  • Oversee shift activities, coordinate workflow, allocate resources, and ensure production goals for safety, quality, delivery, and cost are consistently met.
  • Ensure regulatory and quality system compliance
  • Maintain adherence to FDA, ISO 13485, and internal Quality System requirements, including proper documentation, training compliance, and adherence to controlled procedures.
  • Develop and manage production personnel
  • Provide direction, coaching, performance feedback, and development of Production staff to build a capable, high‑performing team.
  • Optimize production processes and efficiency
  • Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements in methods, equipment utilization, and material flow using Lean, 5S, and waste‑reduction tools.
  • Support capacity, labor, and schedule planning
  • Evaluate production schedules, forecast labor needs, balance staffing, and communicate constraints or resource requirements to planning and leadership.
  • Foster a safe, engaged, and collaborative work environment
  • Promote workplace safety, drive employee engagement, support problem‑solving, and collaborate cross‑functionally with Quality, Engineering, Materials, and Customer Service to resolve issues promptly.
