About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor - 1st Shift for our PowerWave2 product. This role will take place at our new Lake Greenwood Busway facility in Greenwood, SC. We are able to offer relocation assistance for qualified candidates within the United States. The position will support our 1st shift from 7:30am - 3:30pm.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our manufacturing assembly department. The ideal candidate will ensure production targets are met efficiently, safely, and with high quality standards, while leading and developing a team of assembly line workers.
Our facility is currently transitioning from our Hodges, SC location to a newly expanded site in Greenwood, SC. This move reflects the significant growth within our Busway business and supports our continued operational expansion and future capacity needs.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution with 3 or more years of experience in manufacturing or related functions OR a High School Diploma/GED with 7 or more years of experience in manufacturing or related functions.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a team lead or supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate production activities on the assembly line to meet schedules, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement through daily cross-functional communication and clear role definition for team leaders.
• Ensure product quality by serving as the point of contact for quality concerns, collaborating with the Quality department, and applying quality control standards to products and processes.
• Optimize workflow and resource allocation by monitoring operations, adjusting staffing, managing inventory, and addressing material shortages and manpower needs.
• Train, coach, and develop employees through instruction, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure compliance with standards and foster engagement and growth.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and productive work environment by enforcing safety protocols, ensuring proper use of PPE and equipment, and supporting 5S practices.
• Maintain accurate production records and report key metrics such as output, downtime, and quality issues to support operational transparency and decision-making.
• Apply broad operational knowledge in business systems, industrial engineering, employee relations, and manufacturing to support team morale, cooperation, and overall productivity.
