Stone Production Supervisor FLOFORM Countertops – Boise, Idaho With 16 branches and 5 manufacturing facilities across the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada, FLOFORM Countertops manufactures, sells, and installs more than 20,000 premium surface countertops annually. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Stone Production Supervisor to join our Boise team(Day Shift, Night Shift and Weekend Shift available) This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated production leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys developing strong teams while driving efficiency and quality. Position Summary The Stone Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily stone production operations and leading a team of production staff. This role ensures production schedules and delivery commitments are met through effective use of personnel, equipment, and materials while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. The successful candidate will foster a strong team culture through clear communication, training, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of production leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in manufacturing, stone fabrication, or a related industry
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems and software
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and measurements (mm/inches)
  • Strong planning, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and approachable in challenging situations
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing team members
  • Familiarity with operating specialized tools and manufacturing equipment
  • Basic mathematical skills

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support all stone production staff to ensure efficient and safe operations
  • Maintain a strong floor presence and working knowledge of equipment, materials, and processes
  • Coordinate and manage daily production schedules, priorities, and workflow adjustments
  • Ensure all orders meet quality control standards and specifications
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to increase efficiency
  • Monitor production performance against company goals and escalate issues when necessary
  • Lead, coach, and develop employees through training, performance reviews, and team meetings
  • Address minor employee concerns and assist with staff scheduling
  • Champion safe work practices and proper PPE usage
  • Partner with the Plant Manager to forecast labor needs, participate in hiring, and onboard new employees
  • Maintain organized inventory of shop supplies and assist with monthly inventory counts
  • Collaborate with other departments to support operational success
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
