Position Overview: This position is responsible for overseeing the Orlando day shift test and production floor, which includes approximately 10 direct report employees.

Requirements

  • Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).
  • Ability to work with changing demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers
  • Knowledge of MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Proven leadership skills/experience (ability to drive and motivate)
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong organization skills
  • Professionalism a must
  • Team Player a must
  • Ability to adapt to change and maintain a positive attitude a must.

Nice To Haves

  • An associate degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years manufacturing supervision preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience in an Engineer-to-order environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S and other world-class manufacturing concepts a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the working environment is clean, organized, and always safe for employees.
  • Understand and ensure team complies with all ODI safety policies and basic safe work practices.
  • Understand and enforce all company policies as they apply to the area of responsibility.
  • Oversee and drive all production-related activities to ensure customer expectations and business goals are met.
  • Understand monthly production plans / weekly schedules and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Identify obstacles to achieving business goals and provide solutions or seek assistance.
  • Responsible for the coordination of all departmental training including employee cross-training.
  • Maintain excellent communication and working relationship with all departments within the company.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Mfg. Operations.
