About The Position

Avery Dennison is seeking a result-oriented Production Supervisor to lead our Rotary department. In this pivotal role, you will provide leadership and direction for all safety, quality, service, productivity, and cost-reduction objectives within your assigned area. You will act as a team role model and change agent, positively influencing team members to partner together to achieve business goals. Your primary responsibilities involve supervising daily work schedules, monitoring output, and altering plans to meet unforeseen conditions or shifting customer needs. You will be a Lean/Kaizen Leader, driving the execution of site improvement plans and implementing operational strategies for safety, cost, and quality through ELS (Avery Dennison's Business System) efforts. This includes leading 5S activities, housekeeping programs, and frequent business audits to ensure best practices are followed. You will gather and analyze production data for Daily Operations Planning Meetings (DOPM) to ensure team priorities are aligned with delivery expectations. You will match staffing to schedule needs, manage overtime, and coordinate temporary labor requirements with external agencies. As the lead problem solver, you will troubleshoot complex quality concerns and collaborate with functional areas to develop improved manufacturing processes. Additionally, you will ensure the department maintains essential inventory—such as inks, dies, and chemicals—while managing assigned hazardous waste programs. You are also responsible for the Global Performance Management System, providing regular feedback and coaching to develop high-potential talent.
