Under the general direction of the Plant Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for the planning and supervision of employees engaged in the manufacture and assembly of a product. Determines how tasks will be accomplished. Achieves stated goals and objectives. Accepts, performs, and is accountable for the results of assigned duties. Evaluates necessary resources. Identifies and informs superiors of departmental problems and solutions.

Requirements

• Good ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mechanical production environment producing steel tubing engineered components and welded assemblies.
• Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
• Advanced skills in MS Office
• Organizational and leadership abilities
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma with relevant experience.
• New college graduates with technical, engineering, or relevant field of study.
• Develop and maintain accurate records and reports
• Effective use of time and materials to ensure quality parts to the customer on time
• Analyzing and independently solving process problems
• Interpersonal communications verbally and in writing, with a diverse range of people
• Maintaining effective business relations with other departments and customers.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience in metal fabrication and welded assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
• Oversee and coach employees
• Check production output according to specifications
• Submit reports on performance and progress
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
• Supervising 20-30 people, production operators, and support staff.
