Eaton’s ARS division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift to join the team. This role is based at the Cleveland, TN manufacturing facility. Who we are: Eaton’s Cleveland, TN facility is a multi-shift manufacturing operation with over 400 salaried and hourly team members. Cleveland’s central focus has been to build safety disconnect switches since 1977 with manufacturing operations including both fabrication and assembly departments. Having achieved Industry 4.0 Lighthouse factory status, this is a highly automated, dynamic manufacturing environment, producing up to 1 million disconnect switches annually. The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do: Essential Functions Include: Workforce Planning and Production Management: Assist the Operations Manager in planning and maintaining the appropriate workforce to meet production demand. Plan, organize, and direct work assignments for assigned production team members. Ability to prioritize multiple machine schedules to ensure on-time delivery to customers. Work closely with other shift(s) to ensure smooth transitions between shifts. Team Leadership, Engagement and Performance Management: Maintain a high level of morale through positive employee relations and leading by example. Monitor, train, evaluate, and maintain acceptable performance levels while ensuring high product quality and customer service. Assist in setting goals and objectives and conducting mid-year and end-of-year performance reviews. Maintain close working relationships with support departments to resolve process or product issues. Health, Safety and Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a safe and orderly workplace in compliance with State and Federal regulations. Ensure employees receive effective and timely training in safe work practices. Perform job task observations to detect and correct unsafe acts. Document disciplinary actions related to health and safety violations. Facilitate employee involvement in health and safety plans and procedures. Investigate accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Communicate and demonstrate a visible commitment to health and safety through daily operations, training, and participation. Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement operational changes aligned with Eaton’s philosophy, ELSS, EQMS, and MESH across production areas. Actively support process improvement initiatives and operational consistency. Inventory Control and Reporting: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure transaction accuracy in compliance with accounting policies. Run production and inventory reports to support daily operational planning and decision-making. What will make you successful?
