About The Position

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise shift while planning, producing, or shipping fiberglass products as scheduled Attain production or shipping goals as specified by Plant Manager Motivate employees to give maximum efforts in professional manner Ensure that all safety procedures are being followed Maintain weekly employee attendance records Maintain accurate production, inventory or shipping data Hold departmental meetings as needed to discuss updates and/or changes in company policies, procedures, goals, etc. Wear appropriate PPE Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in all aspects of the manufacturing process
  • Forklift license
  • Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
  • Standing up to 12 hours daily
  • Walking up to 12 hours daily
  • Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
  • Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
  • Lifting weights p to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
  • Travel less than 10%
  • Dependability/Attendance
  • Problem Solving/Judgement
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to plan and work with computer-controlled equipment
  • Understand complex manufacturing, shipping specifications
  • Ability to adapt and be cross trained to learn all job duties as required
  • Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read drawings, instruction or repair and assembly operations
