About The Position

First Shift hours 7am to 3:30pm. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead team members to accomplish process improvement opportunities while ensuring production, quality, and safety targets are met at our Jackson, Tennessee facility, where we make Odom's Tennessee Pride, Sandwich Bros. and Celeste frozen foods. You will guide, coach, and develop employees to create an engaged, team‑oriented workforce that delivers results across safety, quality, cost, and service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing preferred.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and loss.
  • Knowledge of plant equipment and safety practices.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Willing to work weekends and/or shift work.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, engineering, food science, agricultural sciences, or another natural science field preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor production performance to ensure quality, productivity, and cost standards are maintained.
  • Provide training and resources to ensure employees are performing job responsibilities effectively.
  • Oversee sanitation practices to maintain a clean and food‑safe environment.
  • Coach and enforce plant rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Evaluate employee performance and communicate improvement expectations.
  • Support plant and company safety programs, maintaining strong adherence to requirements such as lock‑out/tag‑out, personal protective equipment, and confined space entry.
