About The Position

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day production operations at our facility. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role is accountable for ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, optimizing workflows, managing inventory, and leading production team members. The Production Supervisor also acts as a key liaison between departments, helping drive operational excellence, reduce costs, and improve overall product availability and quality.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of experience in a production, manufacturing, or cultivation environment
  • Strong working knowledge of cannabis regulations
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Clear and professional communication style
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and 100 lbs with assistance
  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
  • Must be comfortable working in varied environmental conditions, including noise, dust, odors, and temperature changes
  • Extended computer use and digital documentation
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Familiarity with equipment like pallet jacks, hand trucks, and general tools

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage production schedules and procedures
  • Enforce sanitation, safety, and compliance standards
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Monitor materials and supplies to prevent shortages or excess
  • Maintain and calibrate production equipment for optimal use
  • Provide backup support to the Production Manager
  • Administer strict quality control measures
  • Implement cost-effective strategies to reduce waste and enhance output
  • Coordinate with marketing, sales, and packaging teams to ensure production aligns with demand
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across workflows
  • Lead and co-manage production team including hiring, scheduling, and performance
  • Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
  • Foster a culture of compliance, productivity, and teamwork
  • Act as a go-to resource for SOPs, policies, and day-to-day questions
  • Promote accountability, recognition, and team engagement
