We are actively seeking a Production Support Clerk for our Edgewood facility. This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time. As our Production Control Clerk, you will support all facets of Production Control activities while ensuring the timely completion of our clients work according to the customer requirements. You may also monitor production operations with the goal of ensuring that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the Company's overall market share.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of related experience required.
  • 2 to 3 years' experience in production operations.
  • Excellent follow up and oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate a PC and be literate in using application software such as Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word and various production software.
  • Proven ability to work in a diverse group environment to work with various personality types to get the work done.
  • Ability to relate well and show respect and consideration for others.
  • Proficient in English; Spanish communication skills a plus.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented and self-directed.
  • Flexibility in work schedule that is based on Production volumes which could require weekends and holidays.
  • Promote a professional work environment and adhere to all Broadridge’s policies.
  • Requires standing for long periods of time; stooping and kneeling; lifting to waist up to 20 pounds.
  • Committed to quality, safety and communication.
  • Maintains a safe and clean workspace.

Nice To Haves

  • Lead or Coordinator experience preferred.
  • Spanish communication skills a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Print, sort, and assemble production work orders.
  • Monitor the run rates, planning the insert floor set up, scheduling commingling, and leading the 2 production meetings per shift where production floor status and issues are discussed.
  • Partner with the Print Planner on what jobs are needed on the floor, so they can be scheduled in Print.
  • You will run and supervise production status reports and take appropriate steps to ensure jobs are completed in a timely and effect manner.
  • Oversee internal work requests and complete the associated tasks. Examples include (but not limited to) package pulls, job pull backs, status questions.
  • You will enter production orders into the scheduling system and deliver the work order to the production departments.
  • Serve as a liaison between production operations and client services.
