As the Extrusion Supervisor, you will lead the extrusion department by enforcing company policies, fostering team collaboration, and ensuring operational excellence. You will oversee the transition of products from R&D to manufacturing, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to company standards. A critical part of your role includes maintaining a strong focus on
safety protocols
and
product quality, ensuring that all processes meet regulatory and internal requirements. You will be responsible for promoting a clean, safe work environment and driving continuous improvement in both performance and compliance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Engineering degree preferred.
• 5–8 years of manufacturing and leadership experience, with strong knowledge of food processing and proven ability to influence and lead teams.
• Proven experience developing SOPs and work instructions in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental, safety, and labor regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assign team members tasks to complete each shift, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Set performance metrics for team members and collaborate to ensure all metrics are met, with a focus on safety and quality.
• Resolve problems and troubleshoot issues promptly, prioritizing safety and quality without the need for management direction.
• Manage multiple projects and staff members, ensuring compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
• Report to the Production Manager and meet with management to review goals, metrics, and safety and quality performance.
• Maintain a work environment that meets company, state, and federal safety and employment guidelines.
• Ensure all team members follow safety protocols and quality control measures.
• Oversee timekeeping, attendance tracking, and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Utilize ADP software for payroll, timekeeping, and attendance management.
• Conduct regular employee reviews, providing feedback and setting development goals.
• Foster employee development through training.
