About the position
The Machine Operator will ensure machinery is set up, works properly, and conforms with (and can produce materials that conform with) company quality, quantity, and efficiency standards. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machine according to daily production goals
- Determining whether machinery is working properly based on specifications for expectations such as fixtures, cutting speeds, or feed rates.
- Identify and remove weld splatter from equipment on a daily basis to maintain optimal production results
- Gig installation on the machines
- Completing production checklist daily
- Conducting machine inspections daily
- Maintaining a clean work environment
- Reading blueprints & manuals
- Staying up to date on production goals
- Reporting equipment issues to the production lead
- Daily use of hand tools (allen wrench, hand drills, chisels, hammers, snips, socket wrench..etc)
- Following the safety protocols
Requirements
- Hand-Eye Coordination
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Must have at least 6 months of manufacturing experience
- Must be a US Citizen or Authorized to work in the US
