About The Position

As a Production Technician at Silver King Beverage Company, you will be part of a high-performing team responsible for the safe and efficient operation of automated production equipment in the manufacturing of aluminum beverage cans. This role plays a key part in maintaining product quality, supporting plant performance goals, and ensuring adherence to safety and food safety standards. You’ll apply mechanical skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork to support continuous production and equipment reliability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a mechanical, manufacturing, or production-related role.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Proficient in the safe use of hand and power tools.
• The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills, and must have the flexibility to work a rotating 2-2-3 shift and overtime as needed.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and must be at least 21 years of age in areas with legal regulations regarding the handling and proximity to alcohol.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment, ideally in food or beverage production.
• Familiarity with production line controls, sensors, or PLC-driven systems.
• Experience following standard operating procedures (SOPs) in a regulated environment (food safety, OSHA, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors high-speed production equipment to ensure consistent product quality and optimal line performance.
• Performs basic troubleshooting and mechanical adjustments to reduce downtime and support safe, efficient operations.
• Assists in preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubrication, and basic inspections of equipment.
• Conducts visual and manual inspections of aluminum cans to ensure conformity to quality standards and customer specifications.
• Follows established safety protocols and plant policies, including the proper use of PPE and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment; adheres to 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Records accurate production and quality data in digital or paper-based logs and reports issues promptly.
• Collaborates with peers, maintenance, and supervisors to maintain a productive and positive work environment.
• Participates in training, cross-training, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance individual and team capabilities.
